Alocasia reginula "Black Velvet"

This hybrid Alocasia is considered a "jewel" species.  It stays relatively small and has almost black velvety leaves with a deep purple on the back side.  Alocasias grow from corms/bulbs and do not like to dry completely out.  If allowed to dry out will revert to a bulb state and lose their leaves until watering resumes.
