Alocasia amazonica "Polly"

This striking plant with its large leathery leaves and dark colors has been called "African Mask".  This plant grows from a bulb or corm, and does not like to dry out.  If allowed to go too dry, will fall in to a dormant state, lose its leaves, and revert to a bulb until watering resumes.
